Farah Putrinegara Ahmad Bahrom, Clinical Psychologist

Clinical Psychologist

Farah Bahrom is a registered Clinical Psychologist with over 15 years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families across private, hospital, university, and multidisciplinary clinical settings. Her practice spans adult psychological therapy as well as therapy and assessment for children and adolescents.

Farah supports adults experiencing anxiety, panic, depression, stress, burnout, adjustment difficulties, low self-esteem, emotional regulation difficulties, and interpersonal challenges. Her approach is warm, collaborative, and practical, helping clients better understand their experiences and develop meaningful and sustainable ways of coping.

She also works with children and adolescents experiencing emotional, behavioural, developmental, and learning-related difficulties. Farah has extensive experience conducting psychological, cognitive, developmental, adaptive functioning, and behavioural assessments.

Beyond establishing a diagnosis, Farah assesses a child’s strengths and support needs across areas such as communication, social relationships, daily living skills, and motor development. This helps parents and intervention teams understand how the child functions in everyday life and identify skills that can be strengthened to support learning, coping, and greater independence. She also has extensive experience developing individualised education and intervention plans for children with special needs in early intervention programmes.
